St. Mary School follows the examples of Our Patroness Mary and Her Son Jesus Christ, by serving others, by preparing academically for our future and by respecting all of God’s creations.

St. Mary School is a Catholic Elementary School which provides a high academic program that stimulates and challenges your children to develop to their highest potential. St. Mary School believes that all children can learn. We believe that our program accomplishes this through the following ways:

* Half and Full Day Preschool – 8th Grade, Enrichment (grades 3-8), * Honor roll (grades 4,5,6,7,8, * Remedial math & reading instruction, * Spanish, * Psychological services, * Computer, music, art and physical education, * Cooperative grouping, * Technology in the classrooms including Smartboards and iPad 2, * Educational field trips, * Assemblies, * IAT–Intervention Assistance, Team, * Intervention Specialist, * Instrumental music program, * Standardized Testing (Iowa Tests of Basic Skill and Cognitive Abilities)

Parents are the primary religious educators of their children. It is the obligation of parents to nurture their children and to provide them with a Christian environment. St. Mary School is an extension of that Christian environment. At St. Mary, we provide the following for your children:

* Daily religion classes, *School and grade level Masses, *Daily prayer in classrooms, *Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation (grade 2) , Holy Communion (grade 2), Confirmation/Parish (grade 8)

*Teaching of values and morals as part of , your child’s daily program, *Support for the importance of family, *Opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation
