A Higher Standard – that’s what St. Joseph School offers in both academics and in strong family values. We have openings in grades one through eight, with full-time kindergarten, and preschool for three and four-year-olds. Daycare is also available to working parents. Our campus includes a chapel; a science lab; an art room; two computer labs with 70 laptops connected to a wireless network; interactive whiteboards in every classroom; and a 7,000-volume library with the Accelerated Reader Computer Program.
The school is fully accredited and follows the course of study mandated by both the State of Ohio and the Diocese of Cleveland. In addition to our core curriculum, we offer advanced courses in language arts and math. Spanish is taught as a foreign language in all grades, and tutoring is available in instrumental music. All subjects are integrated into our technology curriculum with weekly classes in computer.
At St. Joseph School we believe that a well-rounded student has the opportunity to explore his or her spirituality, scholarship, creativity, and physical talent through community service and extracurricular activities. Enrichment opportunities include weekly Mass, a variety of clubs and teams, band concerts, an art show, and a science fair, contests, field trips, and holiday and holy day celebrations
Our staff and students are supported by an active volunteer program, a Parent Club, and a Principal’s Advisory Council.
