Developing Mind, Body, and Soul!
Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in partnership with the parish community, we nurture the seed of faith, cultivate the tree of knowledge and follow the path of Christ.
As the stakeholders of the St. Barnabas School faith community
-We believe in teaching our children to recognize their God-given gifts and, as stewards of the Gospel values, in providing them with the ability to see God in themselves and others and the courage to act with compassion and justice as Disciples of Christ.
-We believe in the pursuit of excellence in all academic disciplines.
-We believe in promoting an atmosphere of wellness and wholeness through a variety of instructional, extra-curricular, and athletic programs.
St. Barnabas is a thriving private Roman Catholic elementary school serving an enrollment of approximately 700 students from preschool through eighth grade. We are an integral part of the St. Barnabas Church campus, welcoming girls and boys from Northfield, Macedonia, Sagamore Hills, and Twinsburg. Our extensive curriculum meets or exceeds the standards prescribed by the Cleveland Catholic Diocese and the State of Ohio.
St. Barnabas students outperform the national average on standardized tests, and our graduates routinely advance to excel at the finish high schools in the region. Our learning community commits our Stakeholders to academic excellence, address students learning styles, and empower students to be critical thinkers, life-long learners and moral problem solvers.
St. Barnabas Roman Catholic School is fully accredited by the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.
