Notre Dame Elementary is a Catholic, co-educational, preschool through grade 8 school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame.
Establishing a nurturing and challenging learning environment, cultivating leadership skills, reaching out to others through service and collaborating as professionals with families and the community are all part of its vision for excellence.
Some of the special programs offered at Notre Dame Elementary include: art, music, Spanish, Chinese, computer, enrichment classes, S.T.E.M. education, hands-on science lab and a gifted program. Individual talents are cultivated through student council, choir, instrumental music, chess club, drama club, art club, cooking club, dance, yoga, nature club, Power of the Pen, Science Olympiad, an annual science fair, geography and spelling bee, Young Authors and CYO Sports. Technology is a strong focus in every interactive classroom through multimedia carts, ActivBoards, laptops and iPads. Daily religious instruction, prayer, sacramental preparation, liturgical celebrations and outreach programs foster spiritual development. Mission awareness and the Church-in-the-City Partnership round out our excellent educational program.
