Mission:
We educate young women holistically to learn, lead and serve in the spirit of Mary’s Magnificat.

WHY MAGNIFICAT:
Magnificat High School is a Catholic, college-preparatory school for girls sponsored by the Sisters of the Humility of Mary. Magnificat opened in 1955 with a freshman class of 63 students. Today, Magnificat is the largest all-girls’ Catholic high school in Ohio with a population of nearly 800 students who seek to maximize their potential in a faith-filled environment.

Magnificat is distinguished by its challenging academic program and innovations in the education of young women. The curriculum features nearly 100 course offerings, including more than 20 Honors and Advanced Placement classes. Ninety-nine percent of the graduates go immediately to a four-year college, and last year’s graduating class was awarded over $21.4 million in college scholarships. In this class, three students were named National Merit Finalists and three students were recognized as Commended Students.

Magnificat offers young women numerous opportunities to participate in service and leadership, both in and outside of the classroom. Our students display an attitude of teamwork and excellence in our renowned athletic and co-curricular activities, and are committed to sharing their many gifts with others through participation in our numerous Campus Ministry programs.
