MISSION STATEMENT St. Ignatius of Antioch School is preparing students for a diverse society through academics, faith, and service. Our School is a Catholic School in the city of Cleveland serving a diverse population of students. Our current enrollment is 392 students. We believe in Catholic Schools. Description: St. Ignatius of Antioch elementary school is a Catholic school located in the west side of Cleveland. St Ignatius of Antioch School prepares students for a diverse society though academics, faith, and service. We serve a diverse population of students in Grades Kindergarten-8.
Our school is fully accredited and staffed with all state certified teachers. Those teaching Religion are certified by the Diocese of Cleveland. In addition to the basic curriculum of: Religion, Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, and Physical Education; we offer Youth Choir, Band, Foreign Language, Health and Sexuality Programs, Student Peer Mediation, Anti-Bullying Program, Student Council, Science Fair, Mission Club, and CYO Sports. To support the individual needs of our students we provide: Speech, Remedial Math and Reading, and Psychological Services.
Our state- of- the- art computer room and interactive white boards in every classroom provide our students with the latest in educational technology. To assist our working parents we offer: breakfast and hot lunch, before and after school care until 6:00pm.
St. Ignatius of Antioch School participates in the Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Program (vouchers). Financial aid is available through Parish Grants and Diocesan Aid for those who qualify.
